Cascade Farm is one of the most picturesque thoroughbred boarding farms in New York.  Our farm boasts some of the nicest pastures in Columbia County.  We do not keep large numbers of horses in small paddocks, but rather we have very large, well drained pastures.  Our 140 acres of gentle rolling hills help keep your mare in shape and build your young foals stamina and muscle.  Our fences have been designed from oak four-board and solid post construction. We promote a safe environment with regular checks and a quality maintenance crew. 

Cascade Farm is one of the New York thoroughbred boarding farms that provides care for your horse at any stage of his or her life. We offer experienced personnel in reproductive cycles, breeding, pregnant mares, delivery and foal care. All foaling stalls are equipped with cameras and viewing windows with twenty-four hour night watch.  Our veterinarian is an alumni of Cornell University, Jerry Bilinski, DVM; who is five miles away. All of our stalls are 12x14 with the exception of larger foaling stalls. We offer transportation to the contracted stallion of your choice and help get your mare covered (within NY).

Our farm also provides experienced staff for lay-ups and rehabilitation, to help your thoroughbred make it back to racing.  Cascade Farm will prepare your weanling or yearling through sales-prep, whether you sell in New York or Kentucky. We provide a tailored feeding program suited to the needs of YOUR horse.  We employ a crops manager with 35 years experience in the hay business who cuts, cures and bales our own hay from the fields on Cascade Farm.  We feed only quality hay and strive for a excellent nutrition content during our production.  Our quarantine facility offers seperate housing with all accomodations for incoming horses to the farm.

Our board rate is the same for all horses regardless of their care! We do not charge a foaling fee or for a foal at the mares side.   The charge for transportation is minimal.   However, we do not sacrifice quality care while saving you money!
